Give the insurance industry a piece of your mind!

The insurance industry, represented by America’s Health Insurance Plans, is on a “listening tour.”

As we’ve noted before, this tour is a smokescreen, designed to fool the American people into thinking the insurance industry is taking the health care crisis seriously, when in reality they are working to preserve our broken system. The fact that the stops on this tour have been announced with sometimes as little as 24-hours notice, and have been held in undisclosed locations, underlines the fact that this tour isn’t really about “listening” to the public. Today, the insurance industry says they will be answering the public’s questions online. While we fully expect them to screen out the questions they don’t want to answer, when you fill out the form on the next page, your questions will be emailed both to them and to us. This will allow us to post a truly public record of questions to the insurance industry. To get started, Go To  http://healthcareforamericanow.org
